J&CO HOP started because of the increasing owner surrenders to area shelters and rescues. Many of these surrenders are due to increasing living expenses, pet supply cost and medical costs. We believe that no family pet should be surrendered because of a temporary financial difficulty. Our goal is to "Keep Families Together". Whether that means providing supplies, medical assistance (when funds are available),  or pet shelter assistance, we will do everything within our abilities to KEEP FAMILIES TOGETHER.
